Your hosts are Rosemary Stones and Alan Ravenscroft.  Rosemary is a retired publisher, mainly in the field of children’s books.  Alan is a retired TV producer, most recently producing rock docs for UK and US broadcasters.

We had a house in Burgundy for over 20 years and were the subject of the TV series A House in France. This was the first ever series about British people settling abroad and we would occasionally meet people who had settled in Burgundy after seeing the programme.

We made the move to the Lot a few years ago and decided to call our Gourdon house ‘Valentines’ as we bought it on February 14th.  We love being in the historic centre surrounded by beautiful buildings but with nearby access to shops and restaurants. We also love the easy access from the town to beautiful countryside, lovely villages and the major natural and historic attractions of this wonderful part of France.
