Rue du Cardinal Farinié is on the side of the hill which dominates the town and which is crowned by the 14th century church of St Pierre.

Our house, Valentines, is surrounded by medieval buildings with their pointed arches and towers, creamy stone facades and red tiled roofs. In renovating the house we have taken care to preserve original features and its historic character whilst also providing modern comforts. The furnishings and paintings also reflect this blend of antique and modern.

The front garden at Valentines with its flower beds and magnificent acacia tree, has a seating area with table and chairs for the use of guests.

The house has two front doors. The door to the left leads directly into our self-contained ground floor gite (open plan sleeping/living room, kitchen and bathroom).

The door to the right leads to the main house. There is a traditional oak staircase in the 12th century central tower. The salon with its beautiful oak beams also dates from the 12th century while later additions to the house date from the 19th century.

The house has wi-fi, crowded bookshelves and information about the local area.
