Whilst renovating the property, care was taken to retain its original features whilst also providing modern comforts. The gite is furnished with antique and modern pieces and the tiled floor is covered with rugs. Tapestries hang on the walls alongside modern paintings.

The front door of the gite opens into the well-equipped kitchen/dining room. It has an induction hob, electric oven, fridge and microwave. Guests also enjoy al fresco dining on their outdoor terrace in the front garden. A barbecue is available by request.

From the kitchen, double doors open into the large open plan bedroom/sitting room (40 m2). There is a chest of drawers, a wardrobe, a king size double bed (160 X 200) and a single sofa bed. (A cot and a folding bed are available by request.) If more sleeping accommodation is required, guest bedrooms in the main part of the house are sometimes available. Please enquire.

The sitting area has the sofa bed, several fauteuils, books, a satellite television and Wifi. The ensuite bathroom has a shower, basin and loo.

Linen and towels are provided for an additional charge. (If you bring your own linen please note that the pillows are rectangular.)

Disabled access: please note that while the gite is on the ground floor, there are three steps from the kitchen to the open plan bedroom/sitting area. There is one step from the sitting area to the bathroom.

Covid - Covid remains an issue to be taken seriously and we take care to clean surfaces and air bedrooms for the benefit of guests’ health and ours.

Dogs - by prior arrangement only. Please enquire. Please note that poop must be scooped when you walk your dog in town and this rule, of course, also applies to our garden.
