By car from Paris

The journey takes about 4 1/2 hours. Take exit 56 on the A20 and follow the signs to Gourdon (12 miles drive).

Valentines is in the historic quarter of Gourdon below the church of Saint Pierre on top of the hill that dominates the town. Please note! Rue du Cardinal Farinié is a one-way street that can only be accessed from the Place de la Mairie at the top of this hill (‘La Butte’). To get to it you drive up Rue Bertrand de Gourdon. Once at the top turn right. Rue du Cardinal Farinié is the second street on the right hand side of the church.

If you need to drive right to the house to unload please note that the entrance to the street looks very narrow but vans of 9 m3 can get down it. Drive down about 90 metres. You will see a small parking area (usually full) on the left. No.5 is just behind it. It has white gates and an enormous acacia tree in the front garden.
