The Gite: A well-appointed gite with its own separate entrance occupies the ground floor of this splendid house (some parts date from the 12th century) in the heart of historic Gourdon* with its medieval alleys and houses. (The house is called ‘Valentines’ because we bought it on February 14^th.)

The gite sleeps three (a king size double bed and a single sofa bed). A cot and a folding bed are available by request. If more sleeping accommodation is required, guest bedrooms in the main part of the house are sometimes available. Please enquire.

B & B: We also offer B&B in the main house, a double room (Hearts) and a single room (Flowers).

Gourdon is situated in the Lot, a 15 minute drive from the border with the Dordogne. The town is easily accessible by car (a 12 mile drive from the A20) or by train from Paris. The station is a 10 minute walk from the house. The nearest airports are at Brive, Toulouse, Bergerac and Limoges.

Restaurants, bars and shops are a five minute walk from the house.

*Nota bene: there are two towns in France called Gourdon. Our Gourdon 46300 is in the Lot, Midi Pyrenees.
